Are you in the hunt for employment for seniors?  Then you are a senior and you are trying to juggle what kind of job to look for and what type of work you could find.

Pretend your mind is a blackboard.  Wipe the slate clean of this type of thinking.  Do not underestimate yourself, and overestimate the  employment for seniors job market.  Modern day business is fast becoming aware of the vast potential of the seniors market pool.  As a senior, you are a part of a large and virtually untapped natural resource.

You are a member of a generation that learned business and work ethics that were developed by their forbearers for centuries.

This is a very marketable commodity.  Today’s employers recognize this and welcome it into their companies.  So how do you avail yourself of this situation.

There is actually no mystery surrounding where to begin a job search.  The place to begin a good campaign for employment for seniors is none other than the daily newspaper.

Over the years, you have undoubtedly picked up information on companies and individuals you would work for in a minute if you could.  Now is your time.  Make a list of all the ads in the papers that match up with what you want to do. 

Keep in mind, we are talking about your future.  Don’t undersell yourself. 

Where will you find the month old newspapers?  You probably wont locate the actual ads in print.  People and newspapers don’t keep print copies laying around.  But you live in an electronic era. 

Newspapers keep morgues for old papers in computer files.  You can probably find the month old classified ads on your own computer, listed in the publishers web site.

This will take a good block of time.  But seniors are finding this is the path to excellent jobs.  Employment for seniors is a large and growing market.  Grab hold of it! You will find it fits into your world too.
